plug and play dashboard

Providing clients of Novus Health & MSH Ingle with a comprehensive administrator dashboard with the ability to plug in existing tools. Centrally managing all content and platforms was crucial.

How we got there

Using the newly drafted Novus Design System we began to sketch out our blue sky goals for the dashboard. It would have to be infinitely scalable, aesthetically light, and obvious for users of a suite of existing administrative tools (no complicated UX!). Certain features would be built in by default, such as mapping and security alerts for the travel risk managers, and account management and health risk assessment reports for insurance clients.

Iteration

Rapid iteration was key to designing a naturally usable environment. We tested built designs with administrators to get a feel for their preference and concerns. How data is managed and what is presented took center stage for some, while others preferred to get granular reports and manage service packages above all else.

process, Communicate

Communication between stakeholders is a major part of Novus Design, as the team is made up of dozens of departments across several distinct companies. To understand we had our leads story board with us. We dissected scenarios and looked for unique ways of addressing the individual, and the corporation.

Product workshops taught our department leads to look at opportunities with empathy, and to storyboard to find solutions to our most pressing design challenges.
